"Not clean"

"Excellent location, walking distance to the warf. Fire pits out front and by the pool for great seating areas. Said it was heated, but not enough to swim on a cold day. Spa would be nice."

"Terrible area of town, cannot walk around without being harassed. There was food in the refrigerator from the prior guest dated 5 days before my arrival. I travelled alone but the room was able to be shared with the room next door. Though it was locked I could hear everything in the other room. If the stay could have been refunded I would’ve cancelled upon my arrival. Breakfast was not edible "

"The Handlery has maintained some of the original character of the hotel while updating for modern convenience. The staff are polite, helpful, and very accommodating. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the convenience and proximity to downtown and restaurants makes it very walkable inconvenient. Half a block to the trolley on Powell Street. Half a block to Union Square station. We would definitely stay here again for both business and pleasure."

"I think that a valet service would have been great. With parking at 49/night plus tax and an odd flow of traffic in and out of the front of the hotel it would has been very helpful"
