But felt few things which could have been better for this price: The drain in the washroom sink and bathtub was not good, water goes out super slowly, it was very inconvenient to use the sink especially to brush and face wash. "This is a very unique hotel which makes for both positives and negatives. The hotel consists of some 20 buildings around the main hotel building. The other buildings are reconverted houses or businesses done into hotel rooms. Our building was a short walk away to where the breakfast was served each morning. The whole area was remarkably quiet. On the positive it’s located in a great location. We could walk literally everywhere. And there are no shortage of restaurants and coffee shops nearby....

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend to travelers to use the Kari app rather than taxi services. it is much like Uber and the wait times were very short compared to the taxi i used first. This is a No Frills hotel so be sure to bring a hair dryer if you need one."

"I would recommend the Rodd to anyone traveling to Charlottetown. I stayed there for three nights and found the staff were amazing and super helpful. Very solution oriented and kind the few times we needed something from them. The rooms were spotless and have been newly renovated and the rest of the hotel is maintained. If you use hotel gyms, it is missing a few machines but still does the job quite well."
