"My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at Coopmanhuijs while in Stellenbosch. It was fantastic! The staff was super friendly and acommodating. The restaurant was outstanding. Our reservation included breakfast and we were able to order off of a menu and/or opt for the generous buffet. We also ate dinner at the restuarant and it was beyond delicious. (Springbok carpaccio!) We don't usually relax in common hotel spaces, but everyone was so welcoming that we did spend some time in the lounge...

"We really enjoyed our five nights here, large bedroom with a day bed plus very good bathroom, breakfasts are a feast, lots of choice on buffet breakfast plus a very good hot breakfast to follow.very convenient for many places of interest, a five minute drive into Stellenbosch which is a must visit in this area. Rosie is the perfect host from the moment you arrive, you really are a valued guest ."

"Coming from the US and having heard all kinds of stories about SA, I will say this property is very safe and secure, with (free) gated parking. I had a 2 bedroom apartment that was very spacious and had a patio area and kitchen. It was enormous. The staff are very courteous and helpful, and eager to share all the great things Stellenbosch has to offer. Laundry service is a plus and so is the location—walkable to any number of great restaurants and cafes. Great value as well. Highly recommended."

"Das Hotel liegt in sehr zentraler, aber ruhiger Lage, am Ende einer wenig befahrenen Seitenstraße. Stellenbosch hat uns gefallen und war recht europäisch. Das Personal war sehr nett und hat uns auch direkt mit den Koffern geholfen. Das Frühstück war recht einfach gehalten, aber soweit gut. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit einfacherer Ausstattung gebucht. Zeitnah sollte insb. das Bad renoviert werden. Es war aber trotzdem noch sauber. Preis Leistung hat soweit gepasst!"

"Beat all of our expectations, and they were pretty high from reading the reviews! Accommodation is brilliant and has all amenities we could wish for. Great breakfast and we tried the lunch here last day, also superb. But the by far best thing was the staff. We were made to feel super-welcome and got great recommendations for dinners, winetasting and trekking. I've had the pleasure of travelling to some amazing places, oftwn combining work with some holiday - from South america, all over Asia,...
