"Our stay at San Michele was unforgettable, thanks in large part to Giancarlo and Matthias, who were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. The views here are absolutely unparalleled. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and equipped with great AC (though opening the windows lets in a wonderful breeze that cools the room down perfectly).
A few practical notes: the hotel has a working elevator, but it is quite small (fitting two to three people max, or one person with two medium bags). The pool area is pristine and beautifully maintained; while the pool isn't heated, the cooler water is incredibly refreshing during the hot summer months. Plus, the poolside snack shack means a refreshing drink or bite to eat is always within arm's reach. We already can’t wait to go back!"
