"The lobby was very dirty, no elevator, inside entrance. When we entered the room it was very dated, the floors were dirty, garbage under the bed making it obvious that there had not been a thorough cleaning and there was a strange smell. We checked out immediately and although challenging because everywhere was booked found a B&B for our stay. The hotel clerk was helpful in checking out and they did not charge us."

"I absolutely loved the view from our room. We had a huge window that looked straight out over the river. Also, those windows had blackout shades. So the Alaskan summer can be turned off when it is time to sleep. The room was clean and comfortable. The property was well maintained. The staff was very nice and helpful. Check-in, checkout was very easy."

"soldotna in does not accommodate handicapped people, solo travelers, dogs, NORE service dogs. they lock us all out; & no stayy in house available at front desk until 7 am (sharp). they advertise "pet friendly" (untrue) they advertise "solo traveler safe (untrue) all they'd need to do is keep key cards ACTIVE, daily - without renewal daily ... to followed by non-stop keycard failure. i'd GLADLY write the staff & owner a grant for the experior "emergeny exit" upstairs. well. no refunds were...

"This is a nice place to stay, conveniently located near the highway. Patrons should know that there is no front desk and the key must be picked up at a separate location prior to entering your room. Not a huge inconvenience, but it was unexpected. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. I slept well."
