Meetjesland hotel guide. Marriott Hotels & Resorts hotel in Meetjesland, Flemish Region

Great location, service and host.

Great hotel, central but in a quiet area. Breakfast is costly for leisure visitors €33/€35 per day. Lots of nearby cafes & restaurants. Very clean great rooms, very pleasant environment. Faultless. Reception is very helpful & friendly, relaxed environment. Lovely Spa, sauna & small pool, a real oasis in the city. Easy links to train station by trams T1, T3 & T4 with stops nearby (often not shown on google planner. Just be careful you go in the correct direction! Costs €2.50 just touch in with...

On arrival we were greeted by a lovely young lady who helped us with our bags and made us feel incredibly welcomed. She began to tell us about the history of the hotel and show us some of its rooms which were absolutely stunning due to the new owners redesigning from top to bottom. While our bags were on their way up to our room we were relaxing in the bar talking to our host and enjoying a complementary glass of cava. This was just the perfect start to a relaxing birthday retreat. Our...

Gare 55 is amazing. It is situated in a renovated train station and the facilities are absolutely top notch. The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There is a kitchen that we were able to use and there are prepared meals available in the freezer. We are looking for a reason to revisit the area as we would love to stay at Gare 55 again.

Wonderfully atmospheric hotel in the perfect spot overlooking the main river right at the heart of this great city.

Delightful stay at Villa Magdelena, lots of room in the family suite and lovely to be able to enjoy the outside space. Gorgeous house and a very friendly owner.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. Absolutely beautiful and the decorations for Christmas were stunning. We loved spending time in the lounge area by the fire, the breakfast was very tasty and the hotel is in the perfect location. Would highly recommend. My ownly fault, and this isnt unique to this hotel, is that we paid an additional price for our four month son to stay (which is expected). Then when checking in online, we were asked to pay an extra price for a cot. That's like...

Cannot think of one flaw and I've stayed at hotels all over the world. Beautiful hotel in a stunning location, only to be matched by the warmth of the hotel staff and the character of the rooms. I was going to stay in an AirBnb (I try to avoid chain hotels) but watched the movie "In Bruges" and saw a great deal on Expedia. It ended up being a brilliant decision. Staff are extremely warm, even bringing tea/waffles to my room very late at night. Only regret is I could only stay one night. Will...

It was pleasant stay. Staff was really nice and friendly.

A very comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful management and staff . A peaceful and civilised place to stay

Brilliant Christmas stay, great staff

Excellent hotel in a great location, only 10 min walk from the train station and close to many great places to eat, drink and explore. Our room was very comfortable. Fantastic breakfast too. Highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back!

Location was excellent right in the heart of Bruges. Room was first class, clean spacious and very comfortable. Fantastic view over the square. Staff encountered were all helpful and polite. One of the best hotel stays we have ever had. Great job.

Fabulous place to stay. We were in the newer part of the hotel -- possibly a new building, or a refurbished old one -- but it had been thoughtfully designed and beautifully put together. The walkway to get there went outside, and was only partially covered -- so you might get wet in the rain, although I noticed a stack of umbrellas at reception! Everything else was amazing. Breakfast was fantastic and included three huge blocks of Belgian chocolate and several bottles of fizz, if you wanted...

As always, super helpful & friendly staff. Very comfy bed, large quiet rooms with good food & drinks.

We were wonderfully welcomed as if we were celebrity. The hotel is in a quiet neighborhood. Room is clean and spacious with very clean bathroom and excellent shower. Breakfast is great in a cosy room with tasty food. The staff were excellent and helpful. Nicole treated us with lots of love and kindness . Overall an excellent experience for us. We will be back and will highly recommend

Excellent hotel right in Brugge centre with parking - lovely rooms and bar/restaurant. Highly recommend

Excellent
