"The Fiji Orchid is a lovely relaxed hotel with 6 villas tucked amongst lush greens. The staff are incredibly warm and helpful. There is no useable beach nearby and you need a vehicle to go anywhere off the property but it’s near 2 towns and several attractions. There is always someone available to drive you. It’s very convenient to the airport so it’s a good choice for a few nights on the big island. "

"The breakfast was pretty basic, but basically good enough. There were 4 kayaks, unfortunately 2 were missing storage covers so would likely fill with water. The other 2 did not have these storage areas so we're fine. The water is calm in this area making a paddle most enjoyable. Being a cyclists I was happy to read they had loaner bikes. I was disappointed to see the biggest of them were bmx type bikes. Better than nothing though so i checked them out to find some were missing parts, had flat...

"Had such an amazing time at the beautiful peaceful location just 5-10min walk from Maui bay beach. Property: I came as a little solo retreat to take a break from NZ winters. The unit was exceptionally clean, fully stocked and I appreciate being able to cook myself- although there are a few restaurants and grocery store within 10min walk. "The owner, the staff, the location, and the rental unit were all fantastic. Having the lagoon right next to the lanai was so nice. Everything worked very well, the kitchen was even stocked with pots, pans, dishes, everything needed and all of it very useable and in working order. Even a French press. Super. "We absolutely loved our stay in the villa. To come back from a busy day to the pool, view and quietness was the icing on the cake. The staff were available whenever needed and the groundsman was very attentive tot he property and cleaning the pool. We can’t wait to come back! "
