I arrived and the parking lot was pock marked with deep chunks missing; it felt like I was driving on rocks! I parked where the front door should be, and the doors were steel chained shut. I called the front desk and the man instructed me to come into the lobby from the side door; the front doors don’t work. I did and found a man at the front desk arguing to get his ID returned from the clerk sitting behind security glass with a small pass thru teller type opening. When I got to clerk, he told me he was off duty in about 30-minutes, could I come back when the new clerk arrived. During my wait in the lobby, a woman in excessively tight clothing approached the clerk and ask to buy another hour and a half for a room. The same man who asked me to wait for the next clerk obliged the woman, took her money, and handed her a key. I went back to the car and informed my son I think this is a hotel used for activities that may be unsafe for us to be around. He asked to stay somewhere else, and I found a 2-bed room available in The Guesthouse at Graceland for two nights, and another 2-bed room available in The Peabody for the other three nights. I went back to ask clerk for a refund and he was unable to refund my money because I booked they a third party. I went back to my rental car and booked the other two hotels; driving directly to The Guesthouse at Graceland for two nights. I would like a full refund; Expedia should be ashamed to have this hotel on your site!!!!!!!

I went there to check in.. but they refused to give me the 2 rooms that i reserved. They claimed that they didn’t have any rooms available. I ask for my refund and they said that i have to call expedia. Terrible customer service through OYO.. i need my refund for my two rooms. I cannot get any response back from expedia… idk why… plz send me my refund

There is probably not enough space to tell you everything but first off I will say this: it should not be open. It is an old hotel that was abandoned and still has graffiti on the walls, trash in the corners of the hallway and no elevator that works. We stayed on the fourth floor and tried to walk down the stairs at the end of the hall and the fire door was locked. The reception desk is behind bulletproof glass. It has potential but their attempt to bring in money while renovating is a major mistake. I will give credit to the young man who attempted to find us a room on the lower floor, but none of them were habitable. The tub in the first room he showed his had boot prints and it where the workers had been repairing the tub. And, the blackout curtain on the room would not close all the way because hooks were missing on the end. Another obvious marketing ploy was the pictures on your website. They are nothing like the hotel. They may be the eventual plans for the hotel, but they are not indicative of the property. I really felt uncomfortable in the hotel. There were signs all around it saying visitors are not allowed. In my opinion, this is a black eye on Hotels.com for allowing this hotel to be on their website.

I had a valid reservation through Expedia and arrived to check in on December 22. At the front desk, the staff took my payment and provided a room number. However, when we went to the assigned room, we were informed that it was not available and had not yet been cleaned. We were then told that the hotel had no other rooms available. Because the hotel was unable to accommodate us, we did not stay at the property at all. Despite this, a no-show fee was charged to the card saved in my Expedia account. This charge is incorrect, as I was physically present and attempted to check in. The failure to provide a room was entirely on the hotel’s side. It appears that the reservation was not properly handled or canceled in their system. I made multiple attempts to contact the hotel for assistance, but I was repeatedly given a phone number that could not be reached, and I have not received any refund. Please refund the money deducted to my account.

This place is HORRIBLE!! First of all when you walk into the lobby, it’s freezing cold, even the receptionist was bundled up because how cold the lobby was, the lobby looked a mess. The elevators does not work but they put me on the 4th floor. It was trash all over the hallways and the lights did not work in the hallways. This place makes you feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. It was graffiti all over the walls in the stairwell. Homeless people sitting in the stairwell begging for money as you’re trying to get to your room. As soon as I saw my room which was extremely ran down and smelled like someone or something died in there I immediately went back to the receptionist and asked for a refund!! I booked this place for a week but didn’t even stay in that building for a good 10 minutes!! I am STILL WAITING ON MY REFUND that they refusing to give me!

Where do I start- the door lock was broke so it just pushed open, there are boards on the windows, used shampoo, no microwave, refrigerator or remote. The exits were all locked expect the front.
