"Host is lovey. This is an old pub that’s being converted into various rooms on the top 2 floors. Bathrooms are not on-suite however their are adequate facilities to be shared amongst the rooms so this wasn’t an issue for me. Value for money is second to none. "Clean hotel in a good location. Above the station, over the road from Discovery and the V&A. Only a couple of minutes walk from the town centre. Staff were lovely. Pillows felt cheap though. Premier Inn have better pillows I did have to park a little walk away, possibly there were better options if I'd researched, but definitely no parking on site "

"What a beautiful property with a gorgeous room! We also enjoyed the extra rooms: library, music, etc. They were decorated very nice; we felt like we were staying in a castle! The staff were helpful and professional. The beds were not as comfortable as I would have liked. A perfect place to stay about 10 minutes drive from a park and ride into Edinburgh."
