"Spotlessly clean accommodation with a warm and efficient welcome. Shared facilities which again were perfectly clean. Secure entry system and plenty of off-street parking. Only slight issue was thin walls so could hear the next room on mobile phone but it didn't go on late and I had a good night's sleep."

"Very very friendly staff. Beautiful room for a great price. The only issue was no conditioner or shampoo in the shower so it’s kind of expected for you to wash your hair with hand soap so bring your own!!! Everything else was great. Breakfast was great. Bus stop was right in front. Didn’t go to the pool or sauna but the restaurant/bar was lovely :) Would recommend "

"From the time we walked in, shaking terrified as Americans who had just driven on the wrong side of the road for the first times in our lives, the staff was nothing but wonderful. Greeted us with smiles, and were efficient. Quiet and accomodating at all times. Breakfast was great every morning, and the relaxing free range atmosphere was exactly what we needed. "Bath was not cleaned properly when arrived with rust and mould on it. One of the towels was dirty. Swimming pool is not opened during the time, which is shown on site and closed 1 hour earlier, sauna swithed off 2 hours earlier, than should be. Girls in spa are not friendly at all. Very disappointing, as this hotel was choosen because of the spa mainly. Very limited parking space, which is not mentioned on site at all. Should park on ZOO parking most of the time, which is not free."

"It has small bar and very accommodating staff , breakfast is good for the price I pay.We managed to check in early as the room is available and we did had a good rest as we have an early flight. Location is walkable to prince st. And deans village but you can get a bus going to town centre."

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l'hôtel village. Tant au niveau de la chambre que des infrastructures. Super espace détente avec le spa et la salle de sport surtout après une bonne journée de randonnée, et puis le restaurant et vraiment top. Le personnel est vraiment super et toujours à l'écoute. Je recommande vraiment cet établissement. J'y retournerai."

Restaurant/bar service is friendly but a bit odd in places For example: - why would you place a full hot cup of coffee right at the very edge of a table? - Cheeseboard for dessert served very cold"

"Super hôtel que nous avons utilisé pendant 3-4 jours pour notre visite d’Édimbourg. Personnel très sympathique, chambre confortable et salle de bain très moderne et agréable. Nous avons tester le resto adjacent à l’hôtel et c’était également très bon, avec des prix autour de 20£ pour un plat principal, soit assez classique pour un resto qui n’est pas un fast food."

"The room and amenities and view and building and staff were all lovely. Very luxurious feeling hotel. Breakfast was delicious and there were plenty vegetarian options. The only downside is there's no lift/elevator and 47 plus stairs is a bit much for me but if you have no mobility issues 100 out of 10 would definitely recommend "
