"We loved this hotel. Great vib, the room was comfortable, the location is unbeatable, and the rooftop bar is amazing! Only downside is that the elevators are in serious need of replacement. They break down and malfunction a lot. We were left walking up 11 flights of stairs a few times."

"Amazing location! Also, the amenities such as the espresso machine or the refillable water bottles were very nice touches! I had read that some people said the room sizes were small but I found them to be quite sizable for a midtown hotel and comfortable overall (our party had both standard and terrace rooms). The front of house was so nice and very helpful. Would stay here again in a second!!"

"Our room was at the rear of the hotel and very quiet although it was very close to Times Square etc. It was extremely clean and had all the amenities we needed for a 2 night stay. A good choice of options were on the menu for both breakfast and dinner and the food was very good. All the staff were courteous and polite. We would have no problem recommending this hotel. The Irish bar next door was pretty good too!!"

"The Mandarin Oriental is first class and has a fantastic view of Central Park. After the hustle and bustle of Manhattan, this is a wonderful place to recharge and relax. The Christmas decorations were great and the kids loved the North Pole Post Office and chocolate. We would definitely come back. "
