"Loved my stay. Highly recommend."

"Overall the staff was not very friendly. The resort is beautiful but it takes a couple of days to find your way around. The only orientation you will get comes with a two and a half hour sales pitch to get you to buy a timeshare. We refused so had to find our own way around. There are no signs on the property to help you navigate your way around but we found the best way is to take the golf cart shuttles. Food was about average. Some good some bad. They advertise a private beach but it’s unusable. The surf is dangerous and there is no swimming or beach activities. There is absolutely no entertainment. Nothing to do but lay around the pool and drink. That got boring very quickly. Left the resort on two different days and still found it boring. We were in bed at 8:00 every night out of boredom. "

"Unfortunately the pool was out of service. I did a filtered search for properties with pools and hot tubs and guess what Grand Hotel came up. I have stayed here before but so the search in case a new hotel opened up. Well here we go I booked did not let me.know that even though it does have a pool it would be out of service. Booooo do better both Expedia and Grand Hotel do better"
