"I did not read reviews before I booked our stay and I probably should have. Our room was clean enough for the one night we were staying but the hotel seems to be in overall disrepair. The small things begin to add up. While the room was clean, the remote control for the TV would not work. The batteries were held in place with a rubber band. The shower curtain rod was coming out of the wall and the piping for the shower was loose. You could feel the pipes in the wall move when you turned on the faucet. Upon checking in, my picture was taken, which I have never experienced before. This was after they took a picture of my ID. I also believe the online photos have been heavily edited because the hotel looks a lot nicer in the online pictures than it does online. The breakfast served was exactly what we expected and was quite lacking. Things needed to be refilled. There was a waffle maker and waffle batter dispenser. It appeared to be leaking as there was a huge batter mess under the dispenser. While I was making a waffle for my child and myself, the nozzle on the waffle dispenser came off in my hand and batter began to pour out. I needed a place to wash my hands but the bathroom in the lobby was out of order. I would not recommend this hotel."

"Great location. Room had a comfortable chair and ottoman. Bed was very comfortable. Sink was new but tub was old. Water pressure in shower was terrible. TV sometimes lost sound and had to be unplugged to reboot. Maintenance man said new TVs had been ordered. Lobby area was spacious and attractive with many areas for small groups to gather."

"We paid extra for the room with the microwave and refrigerator. The mini fridge was small and we had difficulty fitting in our gallon beverage (same shape as a gallon of milk) and our take out food. The mini fridge does not have a freezer. The table and chairs were a nice touch and might be more useful near the microwave and refrigerator. The queen size bed was pushed up about three inches to the wall, if moved away from the wall for access, it blocked the access to the power outlet. There was a bit of overall maintenance that should be addressed (liquid streaks on the bathroom walls which did not look like it was from water) and other damage to the walls such as cracks and toe molding separated from the wall (most likely started as water damage). There was a single pest seen on the morning of our last day. This was mentioned to the staff and they appeared to be appreciative of being made aware. The room was on the lower level and convenient to get to from the parking lot. The staff I worked with were friendly."
