"The lobby/bar/breakfast area are all crammed together and very difficult to navigate with luggage in the mornings. The "buffet breakfast" had very few items, less than a typical hotel continental breakfast at a cheap hotel chain. I paid quite a bit extra to have this "breakfast" included.
The hotel is very high tech; however, most features did not work. When I checked in I received a welcome text that I could reply to if assistance was needed throughout the stay. I used it to report the TV and AC not working. The room was extremely hot despite being turned down as cool as it would go. Finally after 2 hours i went down to the desk to inquire about maintenance coming to check it out because the auto generated reply text said someone would be right up. Turns out, those messages go to a property in NYC and the Miami staff had no idea what text system i was referring to. Someone came to fix the TV but the AC issue was never fixed. I had to open the door to the hallway to let some cool air in. Definitely not worth the high cost just to be close to the Port. Will never stay again and do not recommend."
