"Great location. Our view was facing Lake Michigan, and our room had a direct view of the fountain. The room was well appointed, but the AC unit was not working. The first night, we were sweating in bed watching TV and had to request two fans to get any relief. On a good note, the bell hop, Steve, was awesome! So helpful and kind."

"Stayed at Hotel Allegro and overall it was a solid choice. The location in the Loop is convenient — easy walk to theaters, restaurants, and the L. Room was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly and check-in went smoothly. Nothing really wowed me though the decor is fun but the room itself was pretty standard, and there weren’t any standout touches that would make me rave about it. Would stay again if the price was right, but it’s more “reliable” than memorable."
