"I don't think you could find a warmer welcome, from the minute we arrived to heading off the staff at The Cresselly looked after us. We enjoyed a generous dinner and a fantastic breakfast, with high quality ingredients. With free parking right opposite and next to the lovely river walks, it is a brilliant place to stay. We enjoyed reading the history of the pub and the town, displayed on the walls. Only point to offer is that the Inn is near a busy road and I could hear it a little at night so...

"When I booked the hotel I asked if I could be away to rest and relax but was placed by screaming children banging doors and running up the corridor and they were the same in the room next to us"

"It was during one of the high temperatures inEngland and tho it had two fresh air windows the host only allowed one. a small bathroom size window for ventilation plus a small fan. I asked him to open the other window / door but was denied seeming me to leave the property after one nite due to a high temp room . Host was not very helpful tho I asked to change rooms. Also no shade on deck . Would not stay here again ."

"We had a fantastic stay at the butchers arms. They were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with another hotel and Andrew and his team couldn’t do enough for us. What a lovely place to stay. "i’ve stayed here quite a few times. it’s a great location and the staff are always very friendly. the rooms are very good and bigger than i’d expect for the price. located a two minute walk from the services which are great for coffee and breakfast. also convenient for electric car charging. all in all a cracking hotel."

"This was our first time staying at a hotel that wasn't staffed. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodations were very modern. Plenty of hot water. Easy access to both train and bus stations. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants and grocery stores. Quiet. We didn't hear street noise. Stairs are steep, as others have noted.
