"This is a lovely pub the staff very welcoming and a warm homely atmosphere. We had an evening meal which was nice, then an absolutely lovely breakfast. The room itself was ok I didn't sleep too well as the mattress was rock hard and so were the pillows so I woke up with a bad back. Also there was no shower which was very disappointing I don't like having to take a bath where hundreds of people have been"

"Fresh breakfast, excellent staff! Good location on the edge of the town and lots of places to cycle to, including Puzzlewood which was the main reason for our stay. But there was a mechanical banging noise (like a shoe in a tumble dryer!) from 3.30am both nights we stayed that kept me awake. The whole experience was very 'meh' and we wouldn't recommend unless you are playing golf there."

"We had a good stay at the Sloop Inn. Lovely friendly staff. The best breakfast. The property is a little dated, and the bed isn't the most comfortable, but it was all good for a one-night stay. Would recommend."

"Such a lovely 3 night stay at the Colesbourne Inn. We were in a room in the little cottage. It was lovely with the only slight downside being that you can hear the people in the room upstairs. The food was lovely and the staff really friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back."
