1. St Giles ApartHotel by Joivy

"Overall the property was good but some things to note. 1. Hot water wasn’t working when we arrived. They had someone over within 2 hours to check it, and did end up fixing it within about 4 hours, it was frustrating after a long travel day. 2. The mattress was not very good and the bedding looked run down. 3. There is a little patio type thing that could be accessed by the bedroom, however the furniture out there looked dirty and it didn’t appear it was cleaned at all ever. Should just remove...

"The toilet was so high up i couldn't do a sh*t. I'm six foot tall, but when I was sat on the toilet my feet were not touching the ground. Overall, the place was pretty bleak, e.g. no mirror in the bedroom to check my outfit, only one pillow so I got neck ache in bed, no towel rail or hooks anywhere in the bathroom so couldn't hang up a towel, no hook in the bedroom to hang up a coat, no toilet roll holder. These things are not expensive to install. The bathroom floor was a bit dirty when...

"This property was booked at the last minute on the day I travelled when the original place I book got cancelled. They acted quickly to accommodate us and their communication was quick and clear. The flat was above and beyond what I expected. It is modern, beautifully decorated and all the modern conveniences a family would need to live comfortably. It also had gorgeous views of the Musselburgh racecourse and part of the old golf course. The added bonus was the garden, complete with seating, a...
