"The Shocard hotel was unique, close to Times square and the theatre district which was less than a 10 minute walk. The room was compact but clean and nicely styled. There's no room service or ice machine but the Irish pub provides all the ice you need. The hotel provides a drink voucher at the pub for each day of your stay as well as discounts on meals there.
NOTE: These rooms are very compact so if small spaces are not your thing this is not the place for you!"

"Shower door didn't close properly and this led to a flood every time we took a shower - meaning we had to use the mat & additional towels to keep from slipping all over the place. When we arrived, no body wash & conditioner in the shower, though these items were added the 2nd day. We didn't care about that, as we'd brought our own.
