This is a great central location for a city break in Milan. On a quiet street but not far from the action and there is a nice restaurant attached to the hotel plus bars and trattoria on the street too. Room was great and well serviced too.

It’s a wonderful historic building in a perfect location in Milan. The only downside was the noise from the street level. The desk clerk, Peiman, was fantastic. He made our stay terrific.

It's an ideal location for many sites including the Last Supper, Sforza Castle, the Duomo, Navigli District, Brera District (all less than 30 minutes) and many more. Easy access to Milano Centrale via subway. The dinner had at Trattoria Milano restaurant across from the hotel was wonderful, all because Luca secured a reservation for us. We really enjoyed our time there as our suite was very spacious. We would recommend this hotel as someplace to consider for a trip to Milan.

This hotel is beautiful and close to everything. They staff was very accommodating. Everybody was great. Princess from the front desk was amazing. We felt like we were home.

We loved the location of this hotel, the staff were amazing. The building itself was beautiful and the breakfast and the staff that work at the breakfast were awesome.

The property was absolutely gorgeous. Our room was perfect, clean and the exact space we needed to unwind. The rooftop terrace was somewhat disheveled. Not sure that's just meant to be seasonal, but the plants were overgrown, chairs and tables stacked or knocked over. So glad we did get to spend some time up there but could have been more enjoyable.

Convenient hotel between Duomo/Galleria & Last Supper. Payman at the front desk did an excellent job of showing us the highlights of the city & dinner suggestions in the Brera neighborhood.

The Santa Marta Suites were very nice overall, though not without some issues. We were unable to consistently get the room temperature to where desired; we were told that had to do with municipal regulations regarding when lodgings could switch from air conditioning to heat in the fall, though we’re a little dubious. And while the shower was more than sufficiently hot, we were unable to get hot water from the sink. Most problematic was the nightly noise from bars down the street, where people were boisterous until the very late hours virtually every night. That being said, the suite and lobby were lovely and the staff was warm, friendly and extremely helpful in making suggestions and helping us be more comfortable.

Franchement cela m'est apparu comme un piège pour touristes américains. Certes la suite est grande, il y a quelques meubles anciens "antique furniture" mais son aménagement date. Par contre la suite donne sur une rue de 4m de large au 1er étage donc aucune lumière et pour moi c'est vraiment rédhibitoire. Le Wifi etait avec un debit très faible. Le personnel d'acceuil très aimable

Room is spacious, old structure but well maintained and bathroom is newly renovated. However, the bathroom is designed for only tall people. Everything is out of reach for us petite women. The toilet is unusable. Too big to sit on without hurting your butt. Shower is too tight with little to no slope for water to drain. Staff was really nice, gave us all the good restaurant recommendations.

Firstly, the staff at Santa Marta suites were fantastic! The lady who checked us in was very polite and kind, as we had just landed in Italy for the first time, she gave us recommendations of where to eat, and the gentleman who checked us out was equally friendly and pleasant! The suite we stayed in was very lovely! The bed was soft but comfortable, the location was great being far enough away from the tourist hotspots but close enough that everything we wanted to see was comfortably in walking distance. A couple of things we had confusion over, which is more likely user error, is we didn’t realise the bigger bath towels were kept in the cupboard in the bedroom; we didn’t think to check! And we couldn’t fill the bathtub (got to about a quarter and wouldn’t fill more); again, not down rating because possibly user error but if others notice, maybe not! The suite and building itself was stunning and the elevator has been beautifully preserved. Generally, a wonderful place to stay and would happily stay again!
