Just a few minutes away from the showground where they hold antique fairs. Jeff is an excellent host and cooks amazing meals. Looking forward to going back again soon. "

"Lovely room at top, very spacious, extremely comfortable bed, bathroom spacious. Cooked breakfast was superb and beautifully presented. Staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Weeny downside, I had already paid via Expedia, my partner didn't realise, and when checking in, whilst I was elsewhere, paid for the room. Luckily he mentioned it later, and it got sorted and refunded. Would definitely stay there again, beautiful old building, and although a pub was very quiet in our room, ...

"There were only a few people staying so our room was upgraded which was nice. Staff friendly. Parking good. Bar seemed well stocked. The meal was good. We had roast dinners and couldn’t eat it all. "The bedroom had no heating so we had to ask if a radiator could be provided. The bathroom the towel rail did not heat up and was extremely cold."
