"Our room was lovely."

"We stayed for one night and were very happy overall. The standout was the gentleman running the place, who seemed to be doing everything. He was genuinely welcoming and made the stay feel easy and relaxed. The accommodation itself is a bit tired in places, but that felt in keeping with it being an old pub. Importantly, everything was clean and well looked after. The bedroom, bathroom, and bedding were all spotless, which matters more than modern décor. It has a nice, quaint, old-fashioned feel. We ate in the restaurant in the evening. The food was fine, nothing particularly memorable, and it did feel a little expensive for what it was, but that seems fairly typical at the moment. Breakfast, on the other hand, was excellent and a real highlight. It set us up perfectly for the day. It was very quiet during our stay. There were hardly any cars in the car park, and we were the only ones eating both in the evening and at breakfast. That may suit some people, but it is worth noting if you are expecting a busier atmosphere. One practical point: the electric vehicle chargers on site are currently not working, so do not rely on them. Overall, a pleasant, comfortable stay with great service and a strong breakfast."

"Parking easy and onsite Food was great Host welcoming, friendly and professional Nice bar area Room warm and spacious. We stayed in the family room which was surprisingly spacious with proper beds for all. However, this room happens to be at the front of the property, which itself sits on the corner of a busy main road. Unfortunately the headlights and noise from traffic throughout the night made for a very difficult nights sleep."

"Couldn’t really fault my stay. Made very welcome on arrival, room clean and stylish Modern bathroom, nice hot water and super fluffy towels. Nothing was too much trouble, owner Terri was really helpful with booking our dinner at the local pub ( just down the road and food excellent with good community atmosphere) Beautifully presented village; old buildings with great kerb appeal. The B and B was a beautiful period property but with modern twist. Breakfast excellent, no shortage of food and outstanding service. Owner Terri was exceptional. Would fully recommend a visit."

"QUite old fashioned and our room smelled of wet dog, which was off-putting. Bed was really not good quality or comfortable, it was more like a water bed. Amenities are basic and sharign one bathrom between at least 6 rooms is not great. The woman beind the bar was lovely and friendly, but apart from that it was very average I'm afraid."
