"Great little place. Literally next to the old city and walking distance to everywhere. Duje the young man on the front desk was really exceptional when we arrived; after a mishap left me returning to the airport, he made sure my family felt comfortable in the hotel, and even went to show them a nice restaurant when he came off shift. A very kind man!"

"This is a really great little hotel. Perfect location, walkable to everything. The manager met us at the ferry and carried our bags up to the hotel( loads of stairs). The breakfast was made to order with many options and was delicious. The staff were all hard working and helpful. The room was smaller but very clean and had a view of the water! Would definitely recommend while staying in Hvar."

"We had a wonderful three night stay at Balatura. The hotel is a quick walk from old town but in such a quaint and quiet location. "Fantastic host who was so welcoming and did everything to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Nothing was too much trouble including an early check-in despite being very busy. Lots of thoughtful touches in the room and reception including dressing gowns, wine glasses and opener, coffee machine, fridge etc. Breakfast was delicious and delivered to our room at the requested time. Rooms are conveniently located just 10 minute walk to Hvar Old Town centre. Would highly recommend. "

"We had a lovely stay here. Toni’s communication before we arrived was excellent, messaging us whilst we were stuck in traffic to make sure we went to the right place.
