"We really enjoyed our stay at “ the palace” Wonderful location in old town. Fantastic room! Super clean, comfy bed. Fully equipped kitchen with clothes washer and dishwasher. If only the weather had been better we would have totally enjoyed the garden we could access right from the room. The included breakfast was in a cosy little room with a family like atmosphere. Highly recommend."

"The overall stay was good but I just wish the check in process were better that they could have inform us a little bit earlier before we arrive or checked in. I emailed them before arrival but they reply really late. We stayed there from Sunday to Wednesday and there's a change in the gate code to get inside the building. They never informed us. They told me to email me the new code instead of just saying it directly and I waited for their email which never came. So I have to call them and ask...

"We had high hopes when we booked this accommodation and we were certainly not disappointed. The location of this property is genuinely breathtaking as it provides perfect views of the Douro and of the neighbouring Vila Nova de Gaia. Bars and restaurants are literally on the doorstep and as boats are moored just metres from the front door, leisure activities are readily available. "Because our originally booked room was under renovation, the hotel moved us to two rooms on the same floor. There were five of us, so this actually gave us much more space and was very comfortable for our stay. The rooms were very clean and new, and the hotel staff were extremely friendly. Each room was also gifted a small bottle of Porto wine, which was a lovely touch. After we checked out, the hotel kindly stored our luggage for us as well. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel!"

"We enjoyed staying here. The restaurants in the area are good, not far from the tram and Clegis cathedral square. Easy pick up site with Uber. If yiu don’t need a car, don’t rent one. The parking g lit up the hill at Justice was 32 euros per day. A car is not needed in Porto. "
