"For someone who wants the experience of a full five star hotel luxury amenities and service — Vidago Palace is your choice. Starting with the greeting at the royal entrance of the palace and exceptional reception service and ending with the spa treatments everything makes you feel like royalty😂 Not to mention their excellent breakfast and a Michelin star dinner we had for a special occasion. And of course a magic park surrounding the palace."

"Nous sommes des habitués de cet très agréable hôtel.Malgré une hausse non négligeable des tarifs( tous les hôtels de Chaves ont augmenté) On peut regretter la diminution des prestations… À quoi bon laisser la bouilloire dans la chambre si ont ne met pas de thé ou de café ? Auparavant une bouteille d’eau par jour offerte, aujourd’hui, une par séjour ( il faut donc en acheter à l’extérieur…)"

"Beautiful property immersed in nature. The views, architecture, pool and plants were stunning. Food at the restaurant was excellent. A really unique stay."

"Such a beautiful and quiet place! The staff were wonderful and helpful. Supper was delicious local specialties. Breakfast was great with custom eggs and lots of selection. Their wine is excellent! We would totally recommend staying at this small, family run Quinta."

"We loved the stay at this beautiful Casa!! In total we can only recommend as we enjoyed everything and the owners were really nice!"

"This incredibly beautiful hotel has Douro Valley views from the balcony. I just loved it. The grounds are lovely. It sits on the Douro River, with a short stroll to a great collection of nearby restaurants. The daily breakfast was a delight with a large selection of quality items. My only annoyance was the bathroom mirror. It's limited to a single small circular magnifying mirror. I could use the large desk mirror, though, which gave me additional views of the Douro River. We'll be back!"

"Tout est parfait dàs cet hotel, personnel très sympa "
