"Once located - top of hill up very steep country lanes, not too well signposted. Rooms are adequate for a single night’s stay, wouldn’t want to stay longer. Main hotel closed so have to travel down into valley for food. Breakfast was a tub of instant porridge - unimaginative."

"The Kiln Hotel in Wakefield has the look and feel of a run down American Motel that has been abandoned several decades ago. Desperately in need of refurbishment it appears that the new owners have not made any improvements since taking over from Campanile Hotels. The room I stayed in for 1 night looked as if it had not been decorated for 20 years and still had a lingering odour of Cigarette smoke. "We got to the hotel at about 19:00 on Friday found a space in the car park easily and used the lift to reception. Check in was and quick and easy. We were on the fourth floor the room was lovely very clean and spacious. We stayed for 2 nights with breakfast each morning, there was a good selection for breakfast and the staff were very polite and friendly . On a whole we had a very pleasant stay at the Clayton hotel leeds"
