"View was amazing! Right across the street from wharf, Boardwalk, shopping and 4 restaurants! It’s great watching the volleyball players across the street on the beach. This is the only motel we stay at when in Santa Cruz."

"We had a marvelous room with character, overlooking the beach and wharf in santa cruz. The bed was extremely comfortable, though the pillows were a little weird. There was a HUGE tv screen in the room, plus microwave, fridge and coffee maker. The room also came with a huge shower and beautifully renovated bathroom and a private balcony. The room was spotlessly clean and had architectural features from its older heritage. There was one flight of stairs to access it. It could not have been more...

"The space was well maintained and comfortable. However, the pillows were too stiff and the air conditioner did not work well. Additionally, it was a challenge to log into the wifi service. For my purpose on this trip, Seaside was adequate, but I may stay elsewhere if my situation is different on a future trip."

"Very nice staff I will say but I can’t lie whatever you paid for the room (especially during peak season) it should probably be less. The room was pretty tore up and the tv didn’t even have a remote. The shower drain cover was falling off and a lot of the furniture was ripped. The floors felt kinda greasy and grimy and the towels were super thin. But at least the sheets were clean, bed was comfy, easy parking, & they don’t price gouge as much as some of these other spots.
