"Small, boutique hotel delightfully located within the ancient walled city of Mdina. The city is very quiet after 7pm. Only a couple of hotels inside. A few restaurants no bars after 7 in March which makes it so peaceful. The ancient narrow lanes of Rabat are 5 minutes outside of the walls and have plenty of eating/drinking places open late. "The location here is perfect for exploring cospicua and Vittoriosa, and it is not far from the ferry to valletta. The staff were extremely helpful, and although we arrived early they put our things in the room and even put my food in the fridge. They also accommodated us by letting us have breakfast early so that we could catch our ferry on time the next morning. The room was very small and did not have an external window. It did feel a bit damp at times but it seems hard to avoid in Malta....
