"Great hotel, very close to the metro but so quiet couldn't hear it at all. The guesthouse itself was gorgeous, the attention to detail was brilliant. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. A perfect place to stay in Matosinhos."

"Staff was very helpful, breakfast was delicious. The room was a couple of flights, but we knew that and it was ok for us. A small window to look out of, but the room and bed was very comfortable. Shower and washroom was beautiful. Streetcar also is on the same street, still good for the location as it was near everything"

"I really enjoyed staying in Matosinhos instead of main Porto. It has a quieter, more calm feel. The staff were amazing and room was cleaned beautifully everyday! We used the gym each day! Fantastic! Thank you so much!"

"Das Hotel war für die drei Nächte super. Zimmer/Bad war sehr sauber. Frühstück war in Ordnung. Das Gebäude ist gut Instandgesetzt, aber die alten Holztüren/Schlösser hört man doch. Zum Meer ist nur kurz Bergab ca. 5 min. und es gibt viele Geschäfte in der Umgebung. Busanbindung Port/Airport in direkter Nähe. Gerne wieder. OBRIGADO."

"Nice hotel. Clean. Basic restaurant does snacks later rather than meals. Nice food. Walk in shower. Nice area. Breakfast was good"

"It was a bit noisy at night time, but that just added to the lively atmosphere! The ladies chatted all night till 3am - no soundproof walls. Unfortunately, the linens weren't quite ready when we checked in, but maybe the laundry facility was just a bit behind schedule. Despite that, the place was clean. The breakfast was good, and the front desk staff were absolutely fantastic!"

"Room was not thoroughly cleaned, no one was at check in so I had to wait 30 min and call 4 times for the owner to send someone down to hand over the keys. There was a mildewy smell in the room. Motion activated lights kept turning off the in bathroom so I had to keep waving my hand around every 30 seconds. Decent amenities for a hostel but I couldn’t really take advantage of them with just a one night stay. The low price may make it worth it but not a great stay by any means. "

"The breakfast was amazing, but honestly, for the price I paid, I don’t think this place was worth it. There’s a train/subway right outside the door, so it gets pretty noisy, and the hotel itself isn’t very pretty. The decor also feels quite old and outdated. That being said, the food was genuinely great."
