"The property is showing its age"

"There is major construction at this hotel. I was advised the only way to avoid some of the noise was to pay for an upgraded room on the other side of the hotel. Once there it was where they parked the construction equipment and once that started was far from quiet!"

"Cute place with a great view. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Accommodated our early check-in request so we could make it to our event on time. TV remote gave us some trouble, and breakfast was a little underwhelming, but otherwise everything was great."

"Despite the fact that the front desk staff was friendly, the rooms weren't cleaned, we didn't get fresh towels, there wasn't enough parking for all of the guests, nor seating capacity at the teeny pool. It was discouraging."

"Loved the location and amenities! It had everything we needed. Beach was beautiful- I could watch the surfers all day long! You have a shuttle that takes you to the beach if you don’t want to walk 2 minutes :) and you can request them to set up the chairs and umbrellas, get boogie boards. I find it a very nice add-on. Staff was beyond attentive!! Food at restaurants was very good! You almost don’t need to leave, but you do have a gorgeous area around so it’s nice to venture off to San Clemente or Laguna Beach. We live in Venice beach only a little over 1 hour away and this felt like a nice vacation!!"
