"Loved the location and amenities! It had everything we needed. Beach was beautiful- I could watch the surfers all day long! You have a shuttle that takes you to the beach if you don’t want to walk 2 minutes :) and you can request them to set up the chairs and umbrellas, get boogie boards. I find it a very nice add-on. Staff was beyond attentive!! Food at restaurants was very good! You almost don’t need to leave, but you do have a gorgeous area around so it’s nice to venture off to San Clemente...

"There is major construction at this hotel. I was advised the only way to avoid some of the noise was to pay for an upgraded room on the other side of the hotel. Once there it was where they parked the construction equipment and once that started was far from quiet!"

"Room was clean and having a two-room suite was a plus. The balcony with a single chair only provides a view of trees--you cannot see the ocean from the hotel but Doheny State Beach is only a block away."

"Absolutely loved the Ranch and already planning to return next year. The staff is extremely accommodating, the property is beautiful and secluded but still very close to a lovely beach and a quick drive to the Mai strip in town. The rooms are fresh, well designed and have a great local aesthetic. "

"The room has everything you need as if you were at home, a full kitchen. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. The location of this beautiful inn is perfect. Every which way you look from your room is an awesome view of the ocean. The room has a very large window that allows you to see the view. The fire pit is a great place to watch sunset. The property is also close to the pier where they have a great restaurant and bar. "
