"It was like sleeping in somebody’s bedroom that really didn’t care about it. Drawers were dirty inside no hair dryer sheets were questionable. So much more I could say but honestly, you’ve got the idea. I guess when you’re only paying $100 a night you can’t really expect much more than that by the beach. The staff was very nice. We got an early check-in. The positive is it’s close to everything within walking distance. Beach is an about 5 miles away."

"We truly enjoyed our stay here! From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, welcoming, and helpful. We were greeted with glasses of rosé at our evening check in and dog treats and a toy for our pup. The room was adorable, spacious, and clean. We loved the breakfast service and pool area and appreciated that they provided beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas. We will definitely be back!"

"Adorable place in Dana Point. The decor is extremely well done in an old Spanish mission theme. The staff is very friendly. It was perfect for a quick, affordable escape near the beach. One disappointment was that the walls were super thin and we could hear everything from the next room. Another thing to note for people unfamiliar with the area is that Pacific Coast Highway is in between the hotel and the beach. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."

"I arrived at 5pm after driving for 6 hours and was informed my room was not ready and that I would need to wait another 20 mins. Upon arrival there was a gentleman in front of me that had no reservation and was given 2 rooms on the spot. A reservation should come before a walkin. My room is my room. It should not be viewed as AVAILABLE to give to someone else. The woman at check in was rude about the situation and downplayed me waiting. Check-in is AT 3!!!! My room should have BEEN ready and...

"Beautiful property! Our room was comfortable and very clean. The amenities nearby are all amazing; shopping, eateries, historical sites and beaches. I recommend Salt Creek beach for a nice family friendly beach. The bar, café and restaurant on site are wonderful. We will be returning very soon."
