"The hotel is on a square in a lovely part of town, with free parking available on the square and a street back too. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, with a small pool and space to lounge in the sun. The rooms were very clean and the electric blinds kept out the sun brilliantly. Overall brilliant, however weird thing was when I returned to my room after breakfast, the staff had already been in and changed the bed and cleaned the bathroom despite my belongings being scattered around, and the room very much still occupied!!! "My husband and I spent our honeymoon here, and it was truly delightful. We were welcomed warmly and treated to lots of special touches, including lemonade at check in and chocolates at bedtime. The owner is amazingly gracious and gave us a detailed tour of the house, which is a real treat for anyone interested in historic homes. It's beautifully maintained with a spectacular garden and pool--plus the cutest chocolate labrador named Mel."
