I was able to check in prior to the normal check in time and have a nice rest that afternoon. I was so grateful for that kind accommodation. "This is a really great hotel and excellent value too. My room had a balcony overlooking the marina and the staff were all very welcoming and highly professional. I particularly like the decor in this place - even the corridors are cool. I've stayed in a few Malmaison places and they always give each location a particular character making each one a memorable experience. I checked in quite late and only just made last orders in the restaurant (by a few minutes) but no one tried to hurry me up...

"Pet friendly , lovely enclosed large garden my dog was allowed to use , breakfast served in old pub area really historic & friendly helpful owners . Stayed in hikers number 1 , very clean & modern & everything provided with view of garden , easy to find & local pubs if needed . Hope to return . "

"On street parking right outside at £17.50 for 24hrs. The Eden room is lovely with it's own small garden and hot tub. Staff very friendly. Breakfast served in the sister hotel 2 doors along, was very nice and plentiful."
