Everything is exceptionally clean and well-maintained, including the saunas and pools. The massage services were excellent, and our room was spotless, cozy, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The food was outstanding! Both breakfast and dinner exceeded our expectations. We also truly appreciated the professional and convenient bicycle rental service. One of the things we loved most about BIRGÉS Hotel is the atmosphere. Although the hotel is luxurious, elegant, and beautifully designed, it never makes guests feel that they need to be wealthy or pretend to be someone they are not. We could simply be ourselves, relax, and enjoy everything in a warm, welcoming, and respectful environment. To us, that is what true luxury and exceptional hospitality are all about. "Originally, booked for two nights as a way to explore Hungarian thermal spa area. After first day's experience we extended our stay to six days. Quite nicely appointed structures and decore, lobby, facilities and rooms with the attention to details. Helpful staff always ready to assist. Half board package is adequate, breakfast and dinner well presented and tasty. Few times we grabbed a lunch at the pool bistro. Prices for drinks/wines are higher, but in line with the fivestar designation, I guess. IMHO, the parking in the facility should be included for hotel guests, but in Europe, everybody is trying to make extra charge. I don't think hotel of this level needs to penny-pinch on parking. Please continue to maintain these high standards in today's hard times and we will be back."

"The room was clean and the staff very nice. Unfortunately there is no elevator so if you get a room upstairs you have to carry your suitcase upstairs. We made a reservation to the restaurant we ordered cabbage rolls and the duck. Both could take a little bit more cooking."
