"Had a terrible experience at this hotel. I specifically booked this hotel because it said they were “pet friendly” on Expedia. They absolutely are not. I did not mind that my ESA dog is not considered a service animal and I would have to pay a fee but upon arrival I was asked to sign a contract that said I cannot leave my dog alone in the room at any time. It also said that if my dog barks at all I can be fined $250. I asked about this and wanted to know if my dog is allowed in the pool area which I was told he was not allowed, so I said how am I supposed to use the pool if I cannot leave my dog in the room. The older woman at the front desk who was not even the one checking me in was so nasty and said that I should have thought about that before booking and read their policies. Such terrible attitude and customer service. I felt constant anxiety during my stay that my dog who is a relatively good and calm dog might bark and cause me a fine by this hotel. I also could not use any amenities such as the pool because of this policy. Don’t state that you’re pet friendly when you clearly are not. Will absolutely not go back here with or without my dog. And the woman at the desk needs an attitude adjustment because her customer service is disrespectful. When we came back to the hotel in the evening after being out for dinner with our dog, she made a nasty face at us too. Hilton, please fix this for your future guests. Btw no mention of the 250 fine online in their policy"
