"It is a really cute boutique hotel (not a big chain) with wonderful warm and welcoming staff. Keep in mind that this is an older place with lots of history. The place is well maintained and clean. But it is not 100% perfect like a big chain. We were surprised by how quiet it was. The place was full when we were there. We could hear guests opening and closing their doors, but everyone was very respectful of their neighbors. You get a different treat (cookies) every day and they are delicious....

"The Hyatt Place Bloomington is a clean and nice facility with many good amenities and a friendly staff. Its located in downtown near many good restaurants, places to drink, shopping and more. However, if you're not familiar with downtown Bloomington then you'll quickly realize this is located on a very busy street in the heart of downtown and right above a late night bar. "VERY CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED"

"Sheets where clean and bed looked perfect and not just slopped together! Lobby, hallway and room smelled clean!! Clerk was friendly and helpful! All amenities worked and nothing alarming for broken. Sadly I managed a hotel so my expectations are higher than most. Some hair on bathroom floor behind door. Fridge shelves had a few crumbs on it. Floor could of been vacuumed better. Overall for some review on other hotels I passed to come here was top notch. Will return when I'm in the area."

"The bed was clean and comfortable and the noise level from outside was minimal. The bathroom water was hot fast and pressure was good in the shower. The breakfast area was well stocked and clean with a decent selection of breakfast food. Nice location close to IU. The place could use some updates but comfortable hotel. We would book again."
