Hotel Romantis di Monte Sacro

"Bus stop was right outside of hotel. Location was good. Not near the main attractions but that's what we wanted. However, the main attractions were a short bus ride away. When we return to Rome in the future, we will use the same hotel."

"Great staff and comfortable bed but would need some modernization and the breakfast is not worth the money."

"No parking Bar not working No water bottle in room"

"Such a cute place to stay! Right in front of the bus stop which was fantastic"

"Clean room, not great overall ambience and decor (at least for my taste), looks like a Vegas hotel stuck in 2010. Too much air freshener everywhere. Close enough to the Colosseum et al. and a convenient 7 min walk to the train station, great view to the Santa Maria Maggiore.. but incredibly noisy at night. Unrelated but adjacent, I asked the staff to help me with arranging a private driver (luxury sedan) from the airport... I got a Mercedes, yes, but a 15 pax van with a driver that didn't...

"Great team"

"The breakfast choices were expansive - including all they could think of to please foreign travelers- however, the eggs were always cold and the pastries were lacking. I would have loved to have had a legit buttery cornetto instead of a soft bready thing that looked like a croissant. But that is the only complaint I can come up with. The staff was fabulous and helpful, the hotel was beautiful and we loved having aperitivo on the rooftop bar."

"Very conveniently close to main attractions, quiet, safe location. Very helpful staff, good room size , good breakfast. Good value. Recommend! Note: if you use a white taxi it drops and picks up from the hotel door; if Uber you must walk about 50 yards. Hotel can arrange for limo transport at relatively decent price, but you must pay in cash…do the white taxi!"

"Great hotel with a friendly helpful staff. Clean rooms and comfortable bed. Would have been nice to have use of the rooftop area."

"Fantastic place to stay— starting your day on the rooftop with breakfast and Bri g a short (5-15 min) walk from all the major sites and great restaurants made the time in Rome do much more relaxing. We loved this hotel so much we changed our reservation in Florence to stay at the sister hotel — loved it! Rooms were modern but in beautifully maintained old building — we loved looking at the ceiling in our room that was preserved. Couldn’t recommend it more for a stay in Rome where siteseeing is...

"The male front desk and bell hops/captains were very helpful, was not impressed with the housekeeping staff or amenities, and disappointed with the hotel restaurant food. Liked the location."

"Helpful and friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms."
