The highlight was the staff hands down. The layout of the room was great, although the decor could’ve been a bit more aesthetically. The food at the buffet was decent. The okra was perfect every time though. The triangle hash browns at breakfast were delicious. Sole Mio was a great Italian restaurant. Quaint, intimate, good food. A great date night option. I love that it was small inside. Great magic show. Great pool foam party (drinks did the job!). The DJ played good music at the club BUT the crowd was not plentiful. It’s definitely more for families and to those who want to chill and relax as opposed to those who want to party BUT we got good info on where to party off the resort and had a great driver and a good time. Overall 9/10 experience.

The property was in great shape considering the hurricane that hit the island in October 2025. There were a few areas of maintenance going on but otherwise the property looked great! The food was only average. Some staff were so so nice while others were just meh. They tried to do the sales pitch for a time share and tell you it was mandatory. They said it was mandatory to see the transportation services desk the day after we arrived but that was just to try and sell tours and excursions. I read horror stories from other Iberostar properties so thankfully the sales pressure here was not as bad. It still overshadowed the whole experience though.

I cannot thank the staff enough for the incredible service that they gave my family, especially the staff in the Miranda Hall Buffet! We were there celebrating our babies 1st birthday and the entire staff was extremely accommodating and showed so much love to our little Marlee. Our baby had a great time every time we came to the buffet to eat. Everyone there loved Marlee and on our last night, the supervisor/manager allowed the staff to make a small cake for our baby and the experience we had with them singing happy birthday was absolutely amazing. We thank each and everyone one of them from the bottom of our hearts. We will forever recommend this resort and the Miranda Hall Team. Thank you!

When we arrived our room wasn’t quite ready yet but we were able to change into bathing suits and go to the pool. The pool area was large maybe needed more chairs but there were many activities going on throughout the day. It was very windy which without the sun was a little chilly at times. We ate at all of the restaurants and the food was very good. It was first come first serve so we arrived when they opened and we got right in. We went on a free shuttle to a shopping area. Not many stores, so it wasn’t really worth the trip. There was a lot of seaweed on the beach, but the hotel did a very good job of clearing it out as best as they could. There were people selling items on the beach but they did not approach the guests. They kept their distance and if you wanted something, you went to them. The staff asked us upon arrival to come receive our package (which I think was to look at timeshare) but we never went and they never bothered us to go look. Overall we had a very nice time.

Pool was really good and clean but pool bar was ok. It seems they don't know how to make good drinks except bar in the lobby was really good. Food was not that great or food often tastes bland. They did had variety of food and restaurant but taste was not good. Food was missing spieces. Not good dessert either except at restaurnt had some good dessert.

Staff was very welcoming and attentive. Property and room very clean. Food inconsistent, ranges from a “B” to an “A minus.” When we were there the property was at 100% capacity, which created real problems finding a beach chair. Same with the restaurants. If you weren’t in line by 5:45 your seating could not occur for nearly two hours. Could be due to staff shortages due to the hurricane.

Our first room, you could not see any of the beach in the concierge told us it was a ocean view, but you had to look very hard so they finally moved us and put us in a room with a view that we had to look to the left to see the ocean. Unfortunately, the elevators were having major issues and people were getting stuck.

The room was good size with the balcony. There is the small fridge with mini bar inside the room. Because of limited availability, some drinks were not replenish whole stay even when we asked. There was a limited ocean view from the room. The room was cleaned daily. The pool is good size and very clean. Bars at the pool and in the lobby always had some ingredients for drinks missing. Staff in the hotel is excellent. If you like the Caribbean Sea with nice and clean waters this hotel not for you. Bottom of the sea is completely covered with sea grass so you can not swim and enjoy the waters. The Greek and Aunt Ruby restaurant were good. Buffet was average. Average Hotel should have 3.5 stars.

The maid service and mini bar service was excellent. The beach at Waves is better with more shade under the trees. The food was average, very repetitious after 2 days. The supervisor of the wait staff in the evenings at the buffet was mean to her employees. The coffee shop service was great and the casino staff were also great.

The grounds were well kept and looked beautiful. The staff was exceptional, always attentive to our needs and very friendly. My family and I had a great time.
