"My stay at Montenegro Lodge wasn’t without its challenges, albeit very minor ones. On the first day we discovered that the door didn’t lock, so we had limited security. The internet was intermittent at times, and the hot water was not sufficient to fill and use the hot tub. However, where this property fell short, the staff were there to pick things up. I cannot commend them highly enough for their hospitality and kindness throughout our stay. The hotel is missing a few things before it can truly be recognised as five‑star. "No nice breakfast, staff didn’t turn on the light for me when I wanted to take my birthday picture as a solo traveler who arrived by 10pm, no birthday surprise for me even after mentioning it, nothing to eat for breakfast I didn’t even eat the last breakfast.. my room which they said was upgraded to sea view had a scraped of paint near the bathroom, the bed are so uncomfortable and very low.. The staff were really nice but I’m not staying here again. Not happy I wasted my money."
