"We stayed two nights at the property. Overall, our experience was pleasant. However, we had trouble with the AC. The first night it never went below 71 degrees which is too warm for our toddler and us to reasonably sleep. Since we checked in later in the evening and our toddler was put straight to bed we didn't notice right away. The AC panel stated it was on and "cooling" we could also hear the air blowing. So we figured it was just taking longer to cool. That was not the case.
We brought it up to the hotel team the next morning and they sent a tech while we were out to check the AC. Unfortunately, the AC never worked properly during our stay.
I share this because the hotel team was amazing at addressing this issue. They sent the tech immediately in the morning and then again in the evening when we realize it hadn't been resolved. They offered a room change to a room close by. But even that room was having AC issues. So in the end they brought us two large fans and reduced our first night's rate by half to address the lack of sleep.
I will say that while we understand that sometimes issues come up. For the nightly rate that we were paying we expected a stay that was up to par with that rate. There's only so much the hotel team could do accommodate facilities that need repair. I hope that issues like these don't impact other guests stay, especially those traveling with toddlers."
"So disappinted in the experiance here. The driveway leading to our room has many tree roots underneath, the car scraped bottom. The room needs some maintenence. Curtain hanging crooked, looked like termites in the bathroom? Breakfast is what you would expect at Holiday Inn: microwaved potatoes and sausage, carton eggs. The hot tub was full of leaves green slime. Although this is my first time back in many years it is my 9th visit. Sadly i doubt i will return."
"The parking was excellent. It was right next to our room so it made things easy for us to move our stuff inside. We had an issue with our water knob being hot in our bathtub, but they quickly resolve the issue. I would definitely return again."
"The staff were very kind. The location and view were both great. Overall great stay, however the rooms have thin walls and we were awoken by yelling at 6 a.m."
