No doubt, the hotel itself is good. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were generally polite and professional. However, my experience regarding the complimentary breakfast and free airport shuttle, as clearly stated on the Expedia platform, was very disappointing.
When I went to the hotel restaurant for my complimentary breakfast, I was told that I was not entitled to it. This was very surprising and embarrassing. I was required to pay 800 Mexican pesos before I was allowed to eat. This situation made me feel uncomfortable and poorly treated.
In addition, the free airport shuttle that was advertised was not provided, and I had to pay for an Uber to the airport myself. This was unexpected and unfair.
I sincerely hope that either Expedia or the hotel will review this situation and provide a refund or appropriate compensation, as this was not the experience that was promised. Overall, it was a very sad and disappointing experience despite the hotel’s good facilities.
