I choose to stay at the Holiday Inn and Suites based on high review ratings and that it is a recent renovated property. I received an ADA room and was not happy with it. It was nearly midnight and hotel was full so trading rooms was not an option. The cleanliness of the room was lacking from the well worn carpet to the bathroom and linen. The bathroom received cursory treatment it is grimy and needs deep cleaning at the toilet and tub area. The complimentary bottles must be topped off. The fridge needs cleaning, I could not use any part of the freezer for my ice packs bc it was nasty. The bed linen top sheet had a hair and marks, I had to sleep on top of it. I was exhausted and at least had a good nights sleep and was in safe environment.
I hate seeing those IHG commercials about best clean hotel rooms because it just is not true in this case and others I have experienced.
