"The Tru in Brooklyn was a good choice for our stay. It was a relatively short drive to get to JFK for our departing flight. The hotel was clean and comfortable, the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was a nice start for our long day. There’s a bbq restaurant on the street behind the hotel, which we enjoyed very much."

We felt safe staying here, there’s a police station next door (if you want to feel extra safe). The subway is a 5 minute walk there are also a lot of good places to eat nearby (cafes and delis). "This place is an amazing place. You cannot go wrong. The only complaint that I had. I don’t like the bath towels. They’re too rough. Need to have soft towels for the bath after you get out of the shower. That’s the only complaint besides that the place is phenomenal."
