I personally loved the design of the property and interior design of the rooms, overall it was very artful and bespoke. The room was clean and the restaurant was inviting.
Staff in the lobby, housekeeping, and restaurant were all super friendly.

"We love staying at this Zaza for Houston museums, zoo, and Hermann park visits. Price is elevated, but the quality of stay is top notch. Very spacious room at standard rate. Turndown service with a Moon Pie or chocolate, and a bottle of water. Over the span of a couple of days, we had an excellent breakfast and excellent dinner at Monarch. This weekend coincided with a prom being held in the big ballroom. The staff runs things so well that, as a guest, this was not a disruption at all to us."
