"The laundry facility was clean and neat. The staff was extraordinarily nice. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The pillows were not to put liking (too soft) but that's a personal taste."

"I might be a little harsh but the hotel was in the process of closing down for the season, and to do things in anticipation of the new season a couple of months from now. In addition (though certainly not their fault) many of the nearby stores were closed, again because this is "off season." I might add that the woman who innitially checked me in was curt. When I asked about places to hike, she suggested that my age (72) might not be up for such hiking. I may be 72, but I am in very good shape, and each week, typically hike more than 50 miles. I later learned that she has only been working there for two ot three weeks, I would suggest that she needs a lot to learn."

"You’re staying here for the convenience of being right at the entrance to Monument Valley, and having access to sunset, sunrise, and the starry night sky. The view from the ground floor room was wonderful. Restaurant was okay, but doesn’t have much competition. Choices for breakfast were better than dinner."

"Not the most modern decor but it was very clean. It sits on the red walled Canyon that the San Juan river runs through. Conveniently located to MonumentValley and Valley of Gods. I'd stay here again."
