"It was a very clean, quiet room. GREAT bed! I didn’t get a chance to eat the breakfast but it looked like there was a nice variety. The Check in girl was so sweet. And the girl at the desk when I checked out was sweet, too. The only thing - both mornings I woke up to the strong smell of cigarette smoke. I kept thinking it was coming from the room below me but when I left I noticed there were cigarette butts in the handicap parking place next to mine - along with dog poop. I think the smell was...

"This location is perfection for people traveling North on Hwy 459/59 through or from Bham. Liberty Park is lovely and manicured, as well as convenient to Hwy 280 and the gorgeous neighborhood of Mountain Brook. This particular Hilton Garden Inn is impressive for a 3-star Mo-Micro-Tel. "It was decent. The check in/out signs did not match what was indicated by the hotel host. Pool closed early. Drawers in the kitchen were broken. It was decently clean and everyone was helpful. It served the purpose and we were fine with it for a quick stop but is not what you want if you're looking for a nicer hotel."

"The room was clean when I arrived, the air conditioner was quite. Housekeeping were very polite. Now what I didn't like was I had informed a staff person at the front desk about an exit door near room 137 where I stayed for five nights. The door would make a loud sound when people are coming and going, it was very annoying, how ever the staff didn't try to make my stay. pleasant. I just know in when I come to visit again I will be staying at another hotel hotel in the area."

"This hotel was really nice on the inside but mildly felt unsafe on the outside. We had no issues or anything but it just didnt feel like it was in the best part of town. Overall good price and close enough to downtown that it worked well. The rooms were really nice."
