"I didn’t know what to expect when I booked this, but I can say I was not disappointed! Having come from a busy resort on a nearby island, Villa Anakao was definitely more my vibe. The room was incredible. I loved sitting out on the terrace in the evening with a glass of wine. The food was also incredible. I truly felt like I was more than just a guest here. I wish I had spent more time here, and would love to come back one day!"

"We stayed in La Pirogue, Wolmer Mauritius as a family for 4 nights. Our stay was excellent and we found the resort exactly in the same condition as seen in the pictures. While there was a bit of confusion in the airport taxi pick up, but i wouldn't take away a single credit from this resort, its excellent amenities, courteous staff, and good food. "It was a nice hotel in a quiet resort. Hotel felt a little tired, we had a light fitting collapse in the bedroom and some of fixtures and fittings were a little worn. But staff were generally friendly although it seemed that they paid more attention to French people (we were one of a handful of English speaking families). "Just back from a very relaxing stay at the Sand Suites. All the staff went out of their way to be helpful from the most junior to the most senior. The food was very good. Our room was spacious and we had a beautiful view overlooking the pool area. We hope to return some time in the future and would definitely recommend it."

Calm area but easy to go other town such as Port Louis or Curepipe etc,. Train station, boulangerie(napolitaine available!), briyani shop(tooo much for a single touirst!), convenience store nearby.
