We had a rooftop room with a balcony, which was a real highlight and gave us wonderful views over Brig and the surrounding mountains. The only negative I had was the number of house flies that were in the breakfast room. "It's definitely a 5 Star property. I'm only taking 1 star off for the amenity hrs. The fitness center opens at 8:30AM and closes at 6PM (last admission at 5PM). If you're a tourist and like to work out as well then forget either the gym or breakfast as the breakfast closes at 10AM. No possibility of working out in the evening either because when you're back from any excursion, it's closed. And BTW, the 2 days I used the gym, there was no air conditioning, no water and no towels. No attendant around so you could ask."

"The Location was excellent. The Train station was 50 Meters to The Right? The Bus terminal Cross the street and the Eiger and mountains region was at our Balcony. Breakfast was very good and the Staff there was Amazing. The Wellness center was a Good added Benefit across from our room on the 6th Floof. The Views from our balcony were Breathtaking with it changing every few minutes. The Room was a Nice Size with a tub but No Air-conditioning. They brought up some fans and we left the Balcony door up with the cool weather. The Town was very nice and The Food very good, including the Restauarant at Kruez and Post. On another note. Swiss water is Excellent and fountains Everywher in Switzerland. Beware all Restauarants we went to, charged between 2 - 6 Franks for Tap water. The same from your bathroom sink"

"We really enjoyed staying here, the easy access to the main street, the trams and all the amenities of Grindelwald. Once we were checked in we didn't get in the car again until it was time to leave. We choose the room with mountain view and enjoyed our time out there staring at the Alps. The breakfast was a great bonus too and had all the options we needed to start our day and get fueled up for our mountain activities."
