"On the whole it was a very enjoyable birthday weekend for myself and my wife. One small comment to make is on the Saturday night we opted for the buffet as opposed to the à la carte. The choice and quality weren’t the best but ok, only then to find out when the time came to pay that the costs were the same for the buffet as they were for the à la carte! Bit naughty really. "

I believe the rest of the parties rooms were fine however my room was on the second floor. We we had suitcases to carry to the second floor, large mother of the bride dresses with a large hat box and accessories. They let us check in even though we were slightly early and they changed the room to a ground floor one so we didn’t have to climb the stairs. The room was perfect. Clean, spacious and welcoming.
