Staff were outstanding...nothing was too much trouble. Big shoutouts to Mark, Sam, Robert and all the kitchen and bar staff...FABULOUS..

"Firstly, the only reason I haven't given this hotel a terrible score is because of the staff. They were friendly, welcoming and did their best to help.
Unfortunately, The Devonshire Arms was a real disappointment considering the £180 we paid for one night. I genuinely wouldn't recommend paying more than £100 per night. The photos on the website make the hotel look much better than it actually is, and I wish we'd travelled a little further and booked elsewhere.
