"Hot tub was filthy , my room wasnt cleaned in two days had to report to the front desk to ask for it to be cleaned , when it was cleaned you can see my coffee stain on the counter top that was never wiped down , my king suite gulf view was a view with a roof top very disappointed . Bathroom had no vent fan , no place to put your clothes only on ten hangers that was provided no dresser or draws , no chairs or umbrellas provided for beach , happy hour was a joke they only provided a bowl of goldfish , pretzels , Chex mix , carrot and celery sticks ratcheting , only Budweiser bear and cheap wine "

"Average room clean. Beautiful view. Pools are all heated and one indoor. Great location to walk to things. Groceries, clothes, food, and even whiskey bar. "

"This is your typical 80's beach motel. The staff was nice however it seems your updates remained in the lobby. The beds were awful, I basically slept in a hole on one side of the bed. The room was so outdated, we went back in time to the 80s. The cabinets under the sink were falling apart. The furniture was plastic, not great for summer. The TV in the living room area had 19 channels, and not popular ones, but the TV in the bedroom was a Roku TV, the only updated item in the room. Yes there were palmetto bugs and maybe a roach but we can't confirm. We wanted a. Heap weekend and thats what we got. Won't be back to this hotel."

"The location of the property was ideal, a beautiful view of the beach. The property however wasn’t ideal. I do not feel that Expedia accurately reflected the property online, from the lack of cleanliness of the rooms, the lack of cleanliness of the breezeway down to the elevator barely functioning. Even the front of the building wasn’t clean when you first pull into the parking lot. The highlight of me visiting this property was Taylor. Though I chose not to stay at this property due to what was stated above, Taylor was an absolute delight. Very professional, thoughtful and accommodating. I booked the room on a Friday evening and per Expedia’s policy, a refund can’t be granted within 24 hours of check-in. I booked the room within 24 hours of check-in. I arrived Saturday. I contacted Expedia immediately, about the inaccuracy of the pictures on the website and was denied a refund. I also asked to speak with a manager to possibly assist with resolving my issue and per April, the Expedia representative that was assisting me and that didn’t place either. I later found out that this is a very common practice with 1 in 3 reservations having this exact issue and losing funds due to this. For this reason I will no longer be using Expedia to book any of my travel needs. Please view various websites to view pictures before booking if unfamiliar with the property. "

"The worst experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. Upon arrival, there was a line out the lobby door waiting to check in. Some customers had been there an hour and a half or more and were told that the staff was getting their rooms ready still due to being short staffed. Mind you, it was 8:30 at night at this point. After waiting for an hour with no further information from the staff, they finally came out of hiding to inform the lobby full of people that they had given all of our rooms away to other guests. We had the reservation booked at least a month and a half in advance. How do you give that many reservations away?!? The majority of the customers in the lobby were there for a soccer tournament that weekend so probably 20 or more families were left scrambling to find another hotel for their kids to sleep somewhere that night. Absolute chaos! I highly recommend looking elsewhere if you’re considering Fairfield Inn. "
